Ethan Allen Principal’s Message
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! As we embark on my first full year at Allen, I am excited to take a moment to reflect on and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our school during the 2023-2024 school year. It was a year marked by resilience, growth, and unwavering commitment to our students' success.
Last year, we came together as a community to ensure that our students received the highest quality education possible. Our teachers, staff, and families demonstrated incredible dedication and flexibility. Together, we created a supportive and nurturing environment where every student could thrive. As we enter this new school year, we will continue to embrace our Allen approach, focusing on academic excellence while also supporting the social and emotional needs of all students and staff.
This year, we will remain committed to our District's Strategic Plan: Academic Skills + Personal Skills = Lifelong Success! Our academic program will continue to be rigorous, engaging, and aligned with state standards. Our exceptional teachers will use research-based strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills. This includes the meaningful use of technology in instruction, fostering collaboration, and helping students build scholarly habits that will benefit them throughout their lives.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your continued support and partnership.
